How do I get my first Traffic?

I have been asked this question umpteen number of times. I want to tell you guys that there is no secret science or math that anybody knows about Traffic generation. It’s already out there you may already know some of this stuff.



The number one thing I put is hustle. Hustle for crying out loud. It’s just about putting in all your efforts. I am going to show you something you can do.



Let’s assume you have got a product page then get as many links out there as possible. Watch your Google analytics I promise you Traffic will start to come. Will you be getting a million visitors tomorrow? ‘No’ and I think, I figured it out when everyone’s asking me over and over again how to get traffic, I am going to tell you now "how you can start to get enough traffic right off the back so that you can see the results". Remember building an empire is a compounding thing. It’s a snow ball. You got to pack the small ball first and then its starts to roll beyond that. Believe it or not the more traffic you get the easier it is to get more traffic. You got to start somewhere.



I started with somewhere like 100 visitors a day by doing this hustling and going through all these techniques. And I just gathered the traffic and then I built it to get bigger and bigger.



Affiliate Marketing



First and foremost we’ll talk about relationships and networking. Affiliate Marketing is going to be huge for you in both ways. One you market other people’s products to your list. After that you get them to promote back in return for you building an Empire where you have a lot of people promoting you because your affiliate is large. But before you do that I want you to make sure your stuff is converting. You don’t want to burn bridges early on getting someone to promote your product and you don’t convert it’s very difficult to rebuild that relationship and surely he is not going to recommend you to anybody else hence ruining the whole thing about networking and relationship.



Forums



Find a couple of active discussion boards and forums in your market, [they are there]. Yahoo groups, Google groups go to goggle and type your niche’s name, the plus sign, and forum. Find those active ones which allow what they call a signature file. That’s where you can put your name, a little tag line and a link. The link itself will be your list building page. Once you begin doing that you’ll generate traffic.



Does that really mean that if you make one forum post you’ll get a million visitors tomorrow itself? definitely not. But if you make 10 forum posts a day and you are active and you are a good member in the community you will start to get substantial visitors a day just from that. I assure you the more post you have they are archived in the forum your signature file stays there forever. That’s a win.



Blog Commenting



Blogs are active they have a lot of readership and they allow you to leave comments. Many of those blogs allow you to leave your comments with your name and a url or a link there. This will help you in search engines. This will help you in pulling people of your mindset. Your niche will help you in all sorts of ways. Find just one or two blogs that you really enjoy reading and genuinely leave contributing responses to the posts. Try to be among the first few members who leave a comment. So make sure you follow the RSS feed. Frequent the blog be among the first few to leave a comment. Your comment will be seen the most an you`ll get the most traffic from it.



Between the forums and blogs, forums will send you a lot more traffic than blogs



I am asking to spend time everyday hustling. This is another thing you can do.



Solo Ads



If you are ready to spend in a little bit money before you ask an Affiliate to send an email for you go buy a solo ad, how do you buy a solo ad? Search directory of ezines and sign up to them, it does cost money to join. It’s not an affiliate link and I am not making any money if you buy this. It is one of the best directories available that has a listing of all the places that will permit you to buy a solo ad from them for all different niches.



So what exactly is a solo ad?



It’s actually what an affiliate would do. You send them an email and they will send this email to everyone in their list. But they don’t make commission. You just pay them for the mailing. You can get mailings for as low as 50 bucks to as high as 10,000. Search a good list that is about $100 to $ 200 and do a couple of them and do a test. Make sure you are converting well before you ask an affiliate to do it. Try one of them where you go right to the offer right to the sales pages and also purchase a few where you get a chance to generate your list.
